Easily to spot when you drive towards Petchaburi town. You have to park at the bottom of the hill and walk up. Lots of monkeys: if you hold something in your hands that looks like food to them they will come and try to get it. Not that they are aggressive but simply hungry. If you are scared just through whatever food/drink you have in your hands away and the monkyes will leave you alone.
The landscape architecure reminds of a Japanese garden. The walk ways could be in a Swiss mountain village. Inside the buildings you have access to the museum showing how the King lived in the early 20 century.
